Post 3 Nashua

MARCH 13, 2012

From Commander Coglin, Post 3 Nashua -

"In keeping with the theme of this past December, words of a new year and new beginning, I have found myself thinking more of such things and wanted to write about an opportunity I'd like to present to all Legion Family Members. March 13th at 6pm I'd like to host and sponsor a mini-seminar on resume building and interviewing skills. I believe there are opportunities out there for employment at many levels that people should and can capitalize on. I'd like to pass along many tips and tricks of the trade I have gathered working extremely close with my companies' HR department for the last 5 years. With the new year here, I hope it inspires all of you to renew yourself and set new goals and to realise your self-worth even after a long few years of a less than desirable economy. Please pass the word along, or take advantage of it yourself. Any age, skill set or employment status is welcome. Whether this would be your first time really digging into the process that can be finding a job or whether you have a job but would like to update your resume and get acquainted with the new age of everything on-line, all can benefit. I can promise you a few things; you'll have a few laughs, it will be a judge-free and casual environment and at the very least you'll go home feeling a little better about yourself than when you came and with a full belly, because I will provide pizza for when we are finished. All I ask is that you bring an open mind and a notebook. You can always email me at with any questions you may have and to RSVP to ensure we have enough pizza. Until next time, be good to yourself and each other."

Please note….. Contact Cynthia Coglin for more information on this seminar, not the Department office.
